| Why is my deep fryer not reaching the temperatures selected or heating at all? |
If your deep fryer is not heating to the temperature selected or at all, please check the following: |
| Is the deep fryer plugged into a working outlet? |
| Was the unit pre-heated for 25-30 minutes? |
| Does the temperature dial have a temperature selected? |

| Why is my food soggy? |
To much food has been fried at the same time. Try frying smaller quantities. |
| Oil did not reach the temperature needed for food being cooked. Allow 25-30 minutes for pre-heating. |

| How do I clean my deep fryer? |
Prior to washing, wipe oil residue and food debris from cooking pot with paper towels. |
| Wipe the element dry with paper towel until it is clear of oily residue. Take care not to bend the thermostat wires. |
| Wash the basket and cooking bowl with warm, soapy water. |
| Do not immerse the fryer in water under any circumstances. |
| Do not use scrubbing brushes, chemical cleaners or any abrasive materials to clean the unit. |
| When cleaning the lid, be sure to remove both filters. | Back to Top
| How much food can I put in my deep fryer basket? |
The basket should not be filled more than 1/2 to 2/3 full. If you fill the basket more than this, it would cause the temperature of the oil to decrease below the optimal frying temperature and result in foods that are not as light or crispy as they could be. | Back to Top
| How long is the oil good for after using it for the first time? |
The cooking oil deteriorates after 5 or 6 fryings. The cooking oil should not be used if in storage for more than 2 weeks. | Back to Top
| What types of oil can I use in my deep fryer? |
